I haven't ran for over a week due to a return trip to Canada, a backpacking trip with the family in the Uintas and a case of strep throat. I ran 5 this afternoon during lunch to see what would happen. I felt OK considering the events of the last week.
I'm a little discouraged though because this week was supposed to be my peak week before I start tapering for St. George. I have three 20 milers in, but was supposed to do my last one on Monday. I hope to go long tomorrow after work. I'll see how the body handles is. |
